The 2025 Kawasaki KX250X (model code KX252FSFNN) is a race-ready 250cc four-stroke enduro motorcycle designed for competitive cross-country performance. It features a high-revving 249cc DOHC engine with dual injectors and a 44mm Keihin throttle body, delivering strong midrange power and crisp throttle response. The engine is paired with a 5-speed manual transmission and a hydraulic coned disc-spring clutch for smooth, consistent engagement. ?
Built on a lightweight aluminum perimeter frame, the KX250X offers excellent rigidity and handling. The suspension setup includes a 49mm Showa coil-spring fork with 23-way compression and 20-way rebound damping, providing 12.0 inches of front wheel travel. The rear features a Uni-Trak® linkage system with a Showa shock offering dual-range compression damping (2.25 turns high-speed/21-way low-speed), 38-way rebound damping, and adjustable preload, delivering 12.1 inches of rear wheel travel. ?
Off-road enhancements include an 18-inch rear wheel, Dunlop AT81 tires, a kickstand, and a sealed O-ring chain. Advanced electronics such as Kawasaki TRaction Control (KTRC), Launch Control Mode, and selectable power modes are accessible via a handlebar-mounted switch. Smartphone connectivity through RIDEOLOGY THE APP allows for further customization. ?
